D. Kremlin Cathedral Square - Jenny Francis

Standing in Cathedral Square in the Kremlin, on a blustery Sunday afternoon in late May did feel very much like walking in the footsteps of Lymond et al.  They don't allow you to take photographs inside the Cathedrals, and frankly if you stood still long enough they would probably paint an icon on you and gild it, but you can see why it would appeal to Adam's artist's soul - and why he would want to show them how to apply their talents more broadly.  It's almost a stereotypically 'Russian' view; exotic, alien and very ornate but colourful and beautiful at the same time.
